It depends on your little one, where you live and what you’ll use your carrier for most. Our Haven Carrier is made from 100% cotton and is a great everyday all-rounder. Our August Carrier is made from a breathable linen-cotton blend, making it a beautiful option for warmer climates and summer days. Our Ever Toddler Carrier is suitable from 9 months and is designed with older babies and toddlers in mind.

What age can I use your baby carriers from?
Our Haven and August Carriers are designed for babies and toddlers from approximately 3 to 36 months. Our Ever Toddler Carrier is suitable from 9 months. Always follow the individual carrier instructions and consider your child’s developmental stage when choosing a carrier and carrying position.

Which carrier is best for a younger baby?
For younger babies from approximately 3 months, we recommend the Haven or August Carrier. Both offer a supportive, adjustable fit designed to grow with your baby. Your baby’s individual development, including their head and neck control, should always be considered when choosing a carrying position.

Which carrier is best for an older baby or toddler?
Our Ever Toddler Carrier is designed specifically with older babies and toddlers in mind and is suitable from 9 months. It’s a great option as your little one becomes more active but still wants plenty of time being carried. The Haven and August can also continue to be used as your little one grows, within their recommended age range.

What is the difference between the Haven, August and Ever carriers?
The Haven Carrier is made from 100% cotton, making it a comfortable everyday option. The August Carrier is made from a linen-cotton blend, offering a lightweight, breathable option that’s particularly lovely for warmer climates. The Ever Toddler Carrier is designed for older babies and toddlers from 9 months, making it a great option as your little one grows and becomes more active.

I live somewhere hot – which carrier should I choose?
For warmer climates, we recommend considering the August Carrier. Its linen-cotton blend combines the natural breathability of linen with the softness and practicality of cotton. The Haven Carrier, made from 100% cotton, is also a breathable natural-fibre option for everyday use.

What carrying positions can I use?
Our Haven and August Carriers allow for facing-in, facing-out and back carrying, depending on your child’s age and developmental stage. Always follow the instructions for each carrying position and only move to a new position once your child is developmentally ready for it.

Are your carriers ergonomic?
Our structured carriers are designed to support an ergonomic M-shaped seated position, with baby’s bottom positioned lower than their knees and support extending towards the knee crease when correctly fitted.

Will the carrier fit me?
Our Haven and August carriers are designed to accommodate a wide range of adult body sizes, approximately XS–XXL, with adjustable straps so you can customise the fit. The shoulder straps are also designed to sit away from the neck for added comfort.

Can my partner and I use the same carrier?
Yes! The adjustable design means the same carrier can generally be shared between caregivers. Simply readjust the straps and waistband to achieve a secure and comfortable fit each time you swap.

Are your silicone products BPA free?
Yes, our silicone products are BPA free.

Are your cotton products 100% cotton?
Where a Little Essentials product is described as 100% cotton, it is made from 100% cotton. Materials differ across our range, so we recommend checking the individual product listing for the exact composition.

How do I clean my Little Essentials Range? 
All our silicone items are dishwasher, microwave and steriliser safe. Our cotton items are machine washable. 

Where are you based and where are orders shipped from?
Wilde Baby Co. is a small, family-run Australian business based on the Gold Coast, Queensland. Our orders are packed and shipped locally from right here on the Gold Coast.

How should I wash my carrier?
Our carriers can be machine washed inside a washing bag on a gentle cycle. Once washed, reshape your carrier and lay it flat to air dry, preferably in a well-ventilated area. Do not tumble dry or place your carrier in the dryer.
